Final registrations for the ‘Clean Coast 2021’ clean-up campaign

We will be cleaning this Saturday, 18 September 2021, between 10.00 and 12.00 at various locations along the Slovenian coast. In the event of extremely bad weather, we will postpone the clean-up by one hour – all registered participants will be notified of the decision.
Once you have registered, we will let you know the clean-up location and provide further details. Due to the current circumstances, we will leave it up to you to organise any socialising after the event this year.
From tomorrow (15 September 2021), extensive amendments to the decrees aimed at limiting the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic will come into force, introducing the PCT requirement across the vast majority of public life in the country.
These measures will also be strictly observed during this year’s clean-up campaign.
During the clean-up campaign, it is not necessary to wear a face mask whilst moving about or staying in open public places or spaces, provided that the people involved are members of the same household and a social distance of at least 1.5 metres from other people; in a private vehicle, provided there is only one person or several members of the same household in the vehicle; and in open public places or spaces where the PCT condition is met (Article 11, paragraph 2 of the DECREE on the method of fulfilling the conditions regarding recovery, vaccination and testing to curb the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infections). Volunteers will be divided into groups of up to 10 participants per group.
During the clean-up itself, it is important that you wear gloves, which you will receive along with the bin bags from your coordinator.
During the clean-up, ensure your own safety and that of others, maintain a safe distance and follow the NIJZ guidelines.
Each individual is responsible for correctly implementing self-protection measures.
