Support activities
The Research Activities Centre is a standing advisory body to the Director that connects the work of the research and development departments. It is responsible for preparing research programmes, monitoring research projects, encouraging scientific and professional-research publications, and preparing annual reports on scientific activity.
The Institute for Water of the Republic of Slovenia (IWRS) is a public institute whose work contributes to research and development in the fields of natural sciences and technology. It carries out its activities in accordance with its founding act and its entry in the court register of the District Court in Ljubljana.
The Institute is organised into four professional departments and a Department of General Services. For the implementation of specific projects or tasks, dedicated project teams are established. The Director appoints the project leader and team members by formal decision and defines their roles and responsibilities.
