On 18 October 2018, Associate Professor Dr Gorazd Urbanič gave a lecture on the importance of understanding the impacts of human activities on aquatic ecosystems and finding solutions for sustainable water management. In his lecture, he gave several examples of ‘nature’s’ best practices, and concluded with the statement: ‘The solutions lie in nature’.
