The IWRS is preparing sectoral consultations on incorporating the needs of individual sectors into the Water Management Plan. Three sectoral consultations will be organised in Ljubljana for the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning – for agriculture (22 October 2015), the energy sector (28 October) and watercourse regulation (30 October).
It is expected that the consultation will attract the same amount of attention as the successful eight regional consultations on the draft Water Management Plan did. At the consultations, participants are going to review the status, the pressures and the measures envisaged for achieving good water status.
